Raspberry pi  3- A powerful credit card sized computer would be used to make two projects in this workshop

Date of the Workshop: 23rd February, 24th February 2019(tentative).

Duration of the workshop: 8 hours.

Venue for the workshop: 33-111/109/113 labs Lovely Professional University Punjab.

Facilities: A practise kit consisting of a Raspberry pi3, sensors(Gas sensors, DHT12), LED light, Montitors, Connecting wires etc.

Felicitation: Certificate of Participation for all the participants who attend the workshop.

Schedule of the workshop

16th March 2019: 

9am- 12noon:                Basics of Python ,Linux Commands,Telegram API,Introduction to Raspberry pi3.

12noon-1pm:                 Break

1pm-5pm(for group-1):  Sensor Interfacing(DHT11, Gas sensor) with GPIO pins of Raspberry PI, Interfacing hardware with Telegram Chat Bot.

 Project 1: Making a Telegram chat bot which can switch lights.

17th March 2019:

9am-12noon(for group-2):  Sensor Interfacing(DHT11, Gas sensor) with GPIO pins of Raspberry PI, Interfacing hardware with Telegram Chat Bot.

  Projec 1: Making a Telegram chat bot which can switch lights.

12:30noon-2:30pm(for group-1):  Making a webpage, uploading sensor values onto a webpage and using Raspberry pi as an Apache server.

2:30pm-5:00pm(for group-2):Making a webpage, uploading sensor values onto a webpage and using Raspberry pi as an Apache server.

 

Registration Fees: Rs 350/- only inclusive of all the expenses.

 Terms and conditions:

1)Practise kits woud be provided to the the group at venue only on deposition university ID cards of every member of the group.

2)Dates are tentative to change.

3)No Refund would be initiated,unless the organisation is at fault.

4)Participants would be responsible for any damage/loss to the components, the repercussion for the same would be done by the responsible partiipant.

5)Particpants would not be permitted without a valid eticket provided by the student organisation RTRA.
